Web redesign for the Federació Catalana de Cineclubs ( Catalan Federation of Cineclubs )
La Federació Catalana de Cineclubs 📽️🎞️ (@fedcatcineclubs) is a historical entity created in 1978 with the aim of bringing together the film clubs of Catalonia and other Catalan-speaking territories and promoting cinema as a cultural event, providing advisory, management, documentation and dissemination services and thus extending the film club movement.
We have been working together for many years and this time we were given the task of achieving a redesign of their website, with the intention of updating the one that was done at the time through the iWith.org Foundation.
This redesign was carried out on the latest version of #WordpressWe used a modern and adaptable (responsive) theme that would allow them to show in maximum detail the available film listings and all the information about the sessions and the film club where they are screened.
The main challenge of this project for us was to find the form that best adapted to the Federació's vision of the homepage, which had to contain all the updated information on upcoming screenings and Filmoxarxa, which is the Concerted Network of Cinematographic Screens of Catalonia, created with the aim of contributing to the dissemination of Catalan and European cinema and promoting film culture in Catalonia and in the education system. Taking advantage of the diverse and eye-catching film posters and eye-catching typography, we have managed to meet the Federació's expectations.
